On Site Ads

The widgets offered at Wijot.com are designed to display customized information for each user. They are offered free of charge for any user to use in their MySpace page, Friendster page, blog, or home page. In order to provide the customized information for the widgets, users must enter data into data entry forms at this site. Consequently, the pages that host those forms receive numerous visits from web users and provide ample advertising opportunities.

Widget Imbedded Ads

Once a user has configured their widget, they are provided with code to insert into their MySpace page, Friendster page, blog, or home page. This code will reference a background image hosted at Wijot.com. Your advertisment will be placed in this image and that section of the image will be a clickable hyperlink that can bring visitors to your site. Because the widgets reference images hosted at Wijot.com, any ads placed within the image will immediately display in that Widget wherever it is installed. For instance, if 1000 people have Werjago maps on thier MySpace page, then a new ad will appear on all 1000 of those pages immediately and regardless of when the user first installed the widget on their page. The ad will continue to appear until it expires.

Note: imbedded ads may be disabled for certain sites at the request of site owners.

Available Ad Space

Werjago

Werjago (where'd ya go) is a widget designed to be included in a MySpace, Friendster, Facebook, blog or home page. It is a travel map showing all the places a person has gone in the world, essentially a virtual version of putting pushpins in a paper map. The user can enter the places they have visited using the entry form found on the Werjago page. The result will be a world map with green dots showing those locations. A link can be specified for each destination so that when a visitor to the host page clicks on a dot they will be brought to that link, be it a picture, blog, or homepage.

Configuration Page

Ad space is available currenly on the page used to configure a map. Cost for this ad space is $80 U.S. per day or $1500 per month.

Ad space is available whithin the widget that will appear in the middle of the South Atlantic region. The ad can be up to 120x90 pixels. Cost for this ad space is $240 U.S. per day or $4500 per month.
